Bio

David A. Johnson is an accomplished editorial artist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, and The Atlantic Monthly. He has illustrated several children's books, including On Sand Island by Jacqueline Briggs Martin (Houghton Mifflin), Abraham Lincoln by Amy L. Cohn and Suzy Schmidt (Scholastic), and Old Mother Hubbard: A Nursery Rhyme (Simon & Schuster). He lives in Windham, Connecticut.
