Thanks for the ideas using things we just have laying around...or can get pretty inexpensively!
You can also use those flyswatters for a quick game the kids love and don't even know they are learning! Just spread out some cards on the floor (I've used numbers, letters, ten frames, etc) divide into teams and give each team a flyswatter. Call out a letter or number and the first person to "swat" the correct answer gets a point and passes the flyswatter to the next student...and repeat! Keep score...or not! They never seem to get tired of this game!
