I think that is a super small amount to time. We have 30 minutes, and I think that amount of time flies. However, having only 10 minutes may not allow for much... but it makes me wonder if you read the article. The entire first part takes NO time from your conference. They are items available in the hall (i.e.: class books, parents writing letters, setting up a nice table before the conferences begin, and having an interactive bulletin). Inside of the room, it also doesn't cut in to your conference time to place water out with peppermints and have notepads and books available. So, I'm a bit confused on what exactly your comment was regarding.
