Thanks so much! What started out as a huge, overwhelming theme, too deep to dive into right away ended up tying PERFECTLY to the beginning of the year activities! I LOVED that the multiple intelligences quiz was ONLINE and specifically for elementary. Also, if you wanted to kick the flip books up a notch, you could add a QR code or Aurasma to the photo of the student on the final flap page. Once scanned, the photo could "come to life" with the student telling more about themselves!!!! (IDEA for NEXT YEAR!!!!)
Kids and parents loved learning more about themselves as learners, their character traits, etc. I really look forward to combing over this for next year to make it even better and more cohesive. Since this was just the BASIC introduction to "identity" within literature, watch my blog for more....like our upcoming unit on "In the Year of the Boar & Jackie Robinson!"
