LOVE the space you've created! I never would have thought about swapping furniture and art out from my house into my classroom - great recycling idea. I was very tempted to actually use a "theme" for my room this year, as I thought it would make things easier to set up and carry through the year. Alas, I decided to stick with a simple color scheme, and after reading, am glad I did!
My room is rather small, and for 24 bodies to fit, I had to do some rearranging, however, I refused to give up my reading garden. Being in a windowless room for years, I created a garden/park for my reading area - complete with white picket fence, blue sky, green grass, a tree, a park bench, and a cobblestone floor! This year it shrunk and changed, but as it's a favorite feature of the Thinkers year after year, it's morphed into a slightly different garden!
