The hat is super easy, it is ten strips of paper- I used 8.5x11 and cut into five strips per sheet. The band is two 9x3 inch strips of paper stapled at each side. It is best to staple the band together on one on the 3 inch sides, then attach all strips to the inside before bringing all the strips together at the top to staple. Finish by stapling the second section of the band. It does take practice and a good stapler.
