We have a red betta named Grendel in my classroom. Fairly low maintenance, and my students love having him in the classroom. For a fish, he's fairly expressive, or seems to be. I took him home before Thanksgiving, but won't bring him back until this Monday, when we are back from winter break. Students have been asking where he was because they missed seeing him in his bowl.
