I too am in the process of starting a book club for my k-3rd grades classes. I have set up box of used books (that I have secretly been collecting)and will talk to all my classes about bringing in a book to exchange from their own collection that they can bring to me so they can select a book from my book club box. I will write down their names and when there class comes for library I have thought of having them do a short book talk, there by sparking a conversation with the whole class. Does anyone else have any ideas to add??? I would really like to hear them.
