Angela, I am so happy to read this post. I've really been wanting to get all of my students blogging over the summer, but I was a bit nervous about how to set this up so that the students would be independent in their blogging, but also in a safe environment. Thanks for doing all of this legwork for me, and leading the way! Last summer, I tried having students write book reviews for their friends on our class website, but that involved me posting their reviews after they emailed them to me. This sounds like it is far more student-driven and open-ended. I can't wait to give this a try! ~ Alycia
