Right now you may download the free app from ITunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scholastic-reading-timer/id520196131?mt=8) or you can register your class yourself (http://www.scholastic.com/summer/educator). Right now I am keeping a handwritten log until I receive my incoming class list for the fall. Then I will publish the minute logger. If you have alot of students that have difficulty with getting internet access or don't have technology that would match the app feature, then I suggest you log them yourself by whatever system works for you. Quite a few of my students take ELA summer school classes so I have access to their information easier. Hope this helps!
