I have decided to enjoy the distractions of wildlife outside our window in the school garden. After the kids have been back a month, only the deer come by occasionaly. Last year we saw a red fox and several California Quail in the first month of school. But after that, we may get to work on this idea.
In the past I have mounted student artwork on the windows, tissue paper "stained glass" projects look particularly nice, or fall leaves pressed between waxed paper sheets.
