This is an amazing entry...I am thinking of how many times I simply moved past a question without really considering how the student might have felt with my response! I especially liked the list of characteristics of teachers who follow the 1 up..we might do well do paste that list on our desks or calendars!

I definitely agree with your comment. I really have to make a conscious effort to make sure that I respond well to my students' comments.
I also like your idea about posting those teacher characteristics on a desk calendar!
