The first is that I believe the way your classroom looks is very important. I really try to keep the room uncluttered and as organized as possible...as much as possible. I really try to incorporate plants, photos, and lightning all around the room. It creates a cozy feeling and keeps the mood calming. My second tip is to slowly teach your children to be independent. I believe strong routines and consistency help make this a reality. I would encourage you to read a book such as The Daily Five by the Sisters.
