I try to do some of the things you are doing with reading and writing workshop however, it is so hard because we are forced to use the basal at my school. I am very interested in how you do the word study. Is there anyway you could go into more detail of a long range plan of how to do this? I would even buy a book if you would make one of all your ideas and games.
