WOW! You are preaching to the choir as they say--my hubby and I are half way thru Dave Ramsey's class. As a result my classroom spending-out of my own pocket-has come to a screeching halt! I can totally relate to late night runs to WM and expediated shipping from OT. Now I throw away those bright and shiny teacher supply catalogs the moment they come! I have so many resource books that I just had to have......well, now I am going to use them! My sister gave me an idea...have a 'desk sale'. The kids bring trinkets and 'stuff' from home and sell it from their desks. They love it and it saves me $$ from having to stock the store! Parents are good fpr donating small things. I use a little of my classroom budget-but now am even more careful with that!
