Beth, I love your blog and all of your resources! I have just finished the Book Whisperer and have a few questions for getting reading workshop running in my room. I currently do a Daily 5 type reading rotation where my students are based on ability. Of course there is the lowest reading group which I meet with everyday. I am wondering how you balance reading groups vs. strategy grouping. Do you have a schedule that you follow? I am thinking that I still want to do the Daily 5 rotations that my school requires, but allowing myself time during rotations to meet with ability groups or strategy groups. Any tips of suggestions?
