I remember my first year using Everyday Math, and it was intimidating. It was so different from what I was used to, but I really ended up liking it by the end of that year. I have an even greater appreciation for it now that I use the different components of EM to do my math workshop. I think you will really enjoy doing math workshop with your students next year.
