This is an amazing resource for teachers! Thank you so much for sharing how you teach spelling in you classroom. I have been working to integrate many of your strategies in my 2nd grade classroom. I leveled my lists this year and have been pretesting all along. I also aligned my lists with my Phonics Dance chunks and added hunking and chunking to our introduction on Monday. I also have my students work on their spelling patterns during our Daily 5 word study rotation. We use www.spellingcity.com as a center because it allows me to upload their lists to our classroom page and my students can practice their list at home and at school. I also use your spelling tic tac board for our spelling homework. I just wish I had more time in my day to implement more. Thanks again!
