Now you are making me feel old. I distinctly remember starting college with a typewriter word processor (to erase, a button seemed to activate a White-Out dispenser-ha), having emails introduced to us sophmore year, and my now husband confused on what the fuss was about it. There was no www.citationmachine.net around when I was in school, so I am jealous.
Another note to make me feel old. I also distinctly remember being in Sweden, 1999, when a German student had this new thing called a digital camera. We were all amazed and had never seen anything like it before! It would be a while before digital cameras came to the U.S., but I'll admit...how times have changed, right?
Anyway, I am rambling. Thanks for the source, and I'll add it to the post.
Verbic,
