There are two other companies that have seminar materials as well: The Great Books Foundation and the Paideia Institute. I find choosing texts to be the most time consuming part of running seminars, so having a selection of texts is a great place to start.
Carrie, for high school science, my favorite resource is Marvin Minsky's The Society of Mind. It's a collection of short essays (most 1 page) on how the mind works based on experiments in artificial intelligence.
