Sounds like you made the lessons work for you and your fifth graders! Wonderful! That's what this is all about. Yes, the photos are just incredible. It's so difficult to really get an understanding of the amount of loss Japan has suffered. So horrible to think about. Glad you're brave enough to tackle the topic and use technology to do so!
