- Grades: 3–5, 6–8, 9–12
Conservation Biologist Felicity Argengo's special interest is flamingos. Her work takes her from the American Museum of Natural History to far off corners of the Earth, like the Altiplano of South America — a high plateau in the Andes mountain chain that is one of the most inhospitable places around. Find out more about what it's like to be a biologist and what's so interesting about the beautiful, pink flamingo.
Watch the video interview, view the photo slideshow, and read the articles. When you're done, find lots more science fun with Science Explorations.
