About This Book

These eight rhyming two-page tales invite children to read along with a grown-up. Each playful verse is color-coded to indicate whether it is to be read by the adult, the child, or both.

Children's passages feature easy-to-read words and repeating phrases so that even the very youngest can experience reading along. And, while these funny stories all feature familiar fairy-tale characters, they end in a new way — with the story's heroes sitting down and reading a book together! It's an enchanting way to give kids the confidence they need to eventually tackle books on their own.
