About This Book
When a young girl visits her loving grandmother, she always has plenty of fun. They bake cookies, play cards, and most importantly, grandmother gives great hugs and really listens to what her granddaughter has to say. Sometimes after the little girl is leaving the house to go back home, her grandmother gives her "something to remember [her] by." As the girl gets older, the grandmother moves out of the house. The granddaughter, who's now an adult, reflects back on all the times she spent with her grandmother, which are made even more special by looking at all of the little gifts she received throughout the years.
This very unique story encourages both young and old to remember that what matters most in life is sharing oneself with others. And although this is a "children's book," both young and old can share this story together, and in turn, share their own stories and favorite memories. Packed with warm yet realistic illustrations that enhance this story's theme, readers will be hard pressed to not find lots of love in here.
