A boy and a bear set off in an adventure, looking for berries. They play in strawberry fields and nearly fall out of their canoeberry into the blueberries. Children will also enjoy discovering the subtle details that Degen has included in his drawings, such as a frog climbing out of a hat, or the lily pads crowded with crackers and butter. A favorite of preschoolers, and a great introduction to poetry.
