About This Book

There's a creepy new custodian at Burt Itchupt Junior High School. His name is Vlad, and Jake Sherman has never seen him by day. An encounter with the DITS makes Jake nervous. He doesn't know much about Vlad, but he definitely doesn't want to be in his body.

Jake's relieved when the DITS malfunctions, and he doesn't switch bodies with Vlad as he expects. But that's just because his new body's not visible till nighttime; it turns out that Vlad's a vampire! And now Jake is, too!

Being a vampire comes in handy when Jake wants to stop school bully Barry Dunn from crashing a Halloween party. But the next day Jake's still stuck in Vlad's body. Thanks to a hat, some sunglasses, and sunblock SPF 45, Jake can go to school. But there's no way he can get Vlad to take back his body. And if Vlad won't, who will???
