What's Up With the Weather?

Stephanie Abrams talks tornadoes and sunshine on The Weather Channel

One of the most famous faces on The Weather Channel, which broadcasts weather conditions happening around the world, is Stephanie Abrams.

Abrams is a meteorologist who hosts the morning show "Your Weather Today" and co-hosts "Wake Up with Al" with Al Roker, meteorologist of NBC's Today Show.

"I think weather is so important because it affects us everyday, 24 hours a day, no matter what we're doing," Abrams told this Kid Reporter at The Weather Channel's Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, recently. "If we're sitting at home, going to get groceries, it is always affecting us, no matter what, if it's sunny, raining, hot or cold."

Her job can be dangerous, although she laughs at the thought. To find out more — and to see Abrams in action — click on the play button!
