Fifty years ago, on November 14, 1960, then-6-year-old Ruby Bridges became the first African-American student to attend William Franz Elementary School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kid Reporter Abigayle Lista talked to Ms. Bridges about her experience on that day and her influence on the civil rights movement. The interview took place at the Ruby Bridges Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 21, 2010.
