Ultimate Guide to Baseball
Author: James Buckley, Jr.
Publisher/Date of Publication: Shoreline Publishing Group 2010
Number of Pages: 160 Pages

Since the Ultimate Guide to Baseball is non-fiction, you won't find a plot or a story with a beginning, middle, and end. What you will find is 160 pages packed with facts, stats, and all the really interesting information you ever wanted to know about your favorite Major League Baseball (MLB) team.

This book includes information about all the MLB teams, including my very own hometown favorites, the Houston Astros.

My other favorite teams are the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago White Sox, and... Well, yes, I love baseball! Every single team has its very own page of information.

But the Ultimate Guide to Baseball is more than team information. It also includes step-by-step directions on how to pitch, catch, throw, bat, and bunt.

The Ultimate Guide to Baseball is an entertaining book for the baseball fan in all of us. Which means it is a pretty good book if you are just starting baseball, if you are going to teach baseball, or if you just want to know more about the sport.

I actually shared my copy with my school coach. He really liked it and plans to use it as he starts a new team at the school this year!
