The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive

Find out how your class can help children in need by collecting pajamas!

The annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive was a huge success this year, with more than 80,000 pairs of pajamas donated by teachers like you and your wonderful students!

The kindergarten classes of Andrea Maurer, Leslie Bowling, and Rachel Fessler in Brea, Calif. (shown here), collected 67 pairs of pajamas this year for children in need.

For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic also gives the Pajama Program a matching donation of one book.

Pajama Program is a nonprofit organization that provides new books and new pajamas to children in need, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted.

Since 2009, Scholastic Reading Club classrooms have collected and donated nearly 250,000 pairs of pajamas to Pajama Program through the Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive.
