The “Women's Suffrage” activity gives students an overview of how women won the right to vote in national elections in the U.S. and beyond. Students can learn about the suffrage movement and read Effie Hobby’s personal story about voting in 1920. Plus, students can take a quiz and explore maps to discover when suffrage was granted.

  • Students learn the History of Women's Suffrage in the U.S. and around the globe by reading articles and then taking an interactive quiz that tests them on content and vocabulary.

Then they must fill out their chart and analyze global patterns of women's suffrage.
