Spelling Wizard: A Homework Hub Activity
Students can choose from two fun, easy-to-use online activities that will help them memorize their spelling words.
- Grades: PreK–K, 1–2, 3–5, 6–8
Scholastic’s “Spelling Wizard” lets students pick from two fun ways to memorize their spelling words.
First, students type 10 words in the fields provided. Then they can choose either “Make a Spelling Scramble” — where they must unscramble their words — or “Make a Word Search,” which challenges students to find their words in a puzzle chart. Both activities offer an engaging way to practice spelling.
"Spelling Wizard" also lets them check their final work to see how they did.
