Oral Segmentation: An Interactive Phonics Readers Activity

In this online phonics activity, young students listen to how a word sounds, then must choose another word that starts with the same sound.

In Scholastic’s “Oral Segmentation” online phonics activity, young students listen to narrator read the word “fish.” Then students must click and drag a word that starts with the same sound. They have three options:

  • pig
  • feet
  • sun
