Panda Helpers: A Listen and Read Book, Level B

 

Who takes care of baby pandas at the zoo? Early learners find out in this brief story featuring text, audio, and photos.

In “Panda Helpers” (grade 2), students learn that a lot of love goes into raising a panda cub at the zoo. This Listen and Read audio article shares how zookeepers, animal doctors, gardeners, and, of course, the panda’s mom care for a baby panda.

At the end of the story, a Sound It Out section lets students listen to these vocabulary words a second time: zookeeper, doctor, gardeners, bamboo.
