Navajo Ways: A Listen And Read Book, Level A
Early readers can check out Navajo clothes, their homes, and art with this short reading activity that features text, audio, and photos.
- Grades: 1–2
In this brief Listen and Read nonfiction story, “Navajo Ways” (grade 1), students learn what life was like for the Pilgrims, including the food they ate, what their homes were made of, the games they played, and more. The story includes text, images, and audio, so students can read along while listening to a narrator.
At the end of the story, a Sound It Out section lets students listen to these vocabulary words a second time: "Navajo," "mud," "special," and "pictures."
