The “Kids’ Environmental Report Card” activity features Scholastic’s “Tree-Free” eCards, which students can send to their friends to increase awareness about environmental issues. First, students choose from one of four environmental themes:

  • Global Climate Change
  • Endangered Animals
  • Pollution
  • How I’m Helping

Then, they pick one fact to include on an eCard, such as:

Did You Know? Temperatures are projected to rise more rapidly in the next 100 years than in the last 10,000 years.

Learning Objective

Through this activity, students will learn grade-appropriate facts about the topic.
