Around the World in 80 Seconds!: A Maggie’s Earth Adventures Activity
In this exciting activity, students help Maggie fly around the world by correctly answering math questions — all while the clock is ticking!
- Grades: 1–2, 3–5
In Scholastic’s “Around the World in 80 Seconds!” activity, one of Maggie's Earth Adventures, students race against the clock to help Maggie fly around the world. First, students choose addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mix of all four, plus a level of difficulty – easy or hard. Each correct answer gets Maggie to her next stop. Wrong answers slow her down. Students must finish their questions in 80 seconds or less!
