SUMMER READING BUZZ SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

Sponsor: Scholastic Inc., 557 Broadway, New York, NY 10012.

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, simply visit the Summer Reading Buzz Sweepstakes area of the Scholastic Web Site at www.scholastic.com/buzz and follow the instructions located there. Sweepstakes begins April 15, 2008 5:00 p.m. EST and all e-mail entries must be received by September 1, 2008, 4:59 p.m. EST. One entry per person. No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of online entry form will be accepted. YOU MAY ONLY ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES ONLINE. NO OTHER METHOD OF ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor and its agencies shall not be liable for (a) telephone, electronic, program, network, Internet, or computer delays, deletions, interruptions or other failures of any kind; (b) late, lost, damaged, failed, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, unintelligible, or delayed computer messages; or (c) any human error that may occur in the processing of any entry, nor are they responsible for any theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, whether caused by the sender or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery.

2. ELIGIBILITY. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are enrolled in Pre-kindergarten through 8th Grade at the time of entry, excluding residents of Puerto Rico. Employees, and members of their families, of Sponsor, Disney Destinations, LLC ("Disney"), and their respective parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies, are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited by law and in Puerto Rico. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

3. WINNERS. Four (4) prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about September 15, 2008 by Sponsor, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes shall be final. The age groups shall be "Pre-Kindergarten; Kindergarten – Grade 2; Grades 3-5; Grades 6-8. Winners will be notified by e-mail. This message will be sent to the winner's e-mail address provided at the time of entry. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4. PRIZES. The prize winners will receive: A vacation packages for four (4) persons for three (3) nights and four (4) days at Walt Disney World® in Orlando, Florida (the "Premises"). (Approximate Retail Value: $4,078 per winner). The prize package includes:

a. Four (4) round trip coach air fares between the major United States gateway airport closest to winner's residence and the Orlando International Airport; provided, however, if winner resides within 250 miles of the Premises, air fare will not be provided to the winner.

b. Four (4) round trip ground transfers between the Orlando International Airport and the Premises; provided, however, if winner resides within 250 miles of the Premises, transfers will not be provided to the winner.

c. Room accommodations consisting of one (1) standard room (with a maximum of four (4) persons per room) for three (3) nights at a hotel at the Premises selected by Disney in its sole discretion.

d. Four (4) 4-Day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper® Option.

e. A Disney Gift Card with a value of four hundred Dollars ($400).

All items and charges not otherwise described above, including but not limited to meals, hotel room service, laundry service, beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, etc., local and long distance telephone calls, tips, gratuities, service charges or taxes, are the winner's sole responsibility.

Each vacation must be taken between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009. Departure dates and accommodations are subject to availability; certain restrictions and blockout dates may apply. Each vacation is for one of the winners of the sweepstakes/contest and three (3) guests of such winner's choosing. At least one of the guests must be the winner's parent or legal guardian, who shall be solely responsible for the winner and any and all other guests who are minors. Prize and prize components may not be sold, traded, transferred, rescheduled to dates not within the fulfillment period set forth above, or refunded. Prizes are non-returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the case of unavailability, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The winner is responsible for payment of all federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) on any prize received. If any prize is won by a minor, it will be awarded in the name of minor's parent or legal guardian.

Winners will have seven (7) days from notification to accept the prize by e-mail. Sponsor and its agencies shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a winner. If a winner does not respond to notification of winner status within seven (7) days from notification, or if the winner does not meet qualification criteria, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner. After Sponsor's reasonable attempt to award the prizes, any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded, and Sponsor may, in its discretion, elect to donate any such prizes to charity. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address at the time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: If the administration or integrity of the Sweepstakes is compromised or corrupted at any time, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies shall not be liable for any death, injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes. Entrants agree that the decisions of Sponsor related to this Sweepstakes and all drawings are final. By accepting a prize, winners also agree to release Sponsor, Disney and their respective parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective advertising, promotion or production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for death, injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with this promotion, the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity, or accepting, possessing, using or misusing any prize. Sponsor is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded or enjoyed due to travel cancellations, delays or interruption due to weather, natural disaster, acts of war or terrorism or similar causes. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Each winner's parent/legal guardian and winner's guests, and if a minor their parent/legal guardian, will be required to complete, sign and return a notarized affidavit of eligibility and liability/right of publicity release. Failure to do so within ten (10) days of receipt of such affidavit and release will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify a winner's consent to the use of his/her name, address (city and state only), likeness, age, voice and/or photograph for any lawful purpose in any media, including online, in perpetuity without further notice or compensation. One or more winners may also be asked to attend and participate in media and/or public relations events (the "Media Events") designated by Scholastic and/or requested by various media outlets. Upon Scholastic's request, and subject to winner's availability, each winner agrees to participate in such Media Events without any further compensation. Scholastic shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to choose the winners it wishes to participate in such Media Events. By accepting the prize, all winners, whether or not chosen to participate in such Media Events, agree to release Scholastic Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors and agencies, and hold each of them harmless, from any claims relating to their selection, non-selection, participation or non-participation in any Media Events. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for the prizes.

6. INTERNET. Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective advertising, promotion or production agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telecommunications malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason (including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes) the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies shall not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes.

7. WINNERS' LIST. The names of the prizewinners will be posted on www.scholastic.com/buzz/sweeps.asp by October 31, 2008. You may also request the names of the winners by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope no later than December 31, 2008 to: Summer Reading Buzz Sweepstakes Winners List, Scholastic Inc., 557 Broadway, New York, NY 10012-3999, Attn: Summer Reading Buzz Sweepstakes.
