Poetry Challenge
Clip it, pick it, write it!
More for Ages 8-10
What you need:
- newspapers
- scissors
- envelope
- paper
- pen or pencil
What to do:
- Go through the newspaper with your child and cut out words that appeal to you both.
- Put the words into an envelope, then draw five words that you each must include in a poem.
- After you both have finished writing, compare your end results.
- Repeat the activity over time, and gather your poems into a collection that you can share with other family members.
