We asked 13 outstanding children’s book illustrators to create their artistic interpretations of our literacy campaign message: Read Every Day. Lead a Better Life. The result is a spectacular collection of art, and each piece is accompanied by free supplemental resources that meet the Common Core State Standards.

Harry Bliss’s comic-style illustrations allow him to create hilarious characters that resonate with children. He is a cartoonist and cover artist for The New Yorker and the illustrator of numerous children’s books, including Bailey and Bailey at the Museum, which he also wrote.
