What’s a haiku?

A haiku is a Japanese poem. It has three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, and traditionally includes references to an aspect of nature or the seasons.

How will you choose a winner?

All entries will be judged equally on:
  • 1. Responding fully to the topic
  • 2. Spelling and grammar
  • 3. Haiku structure (5-7-5 form)
  • 4. Creativity
My daughter went on the Australian Adventure. It was awesome! I was very impressed with the scope of the activities, with how organized they were, and with the constant communication.
