Writing Realistic Dialogue With Family Photos

If your child has the writing fever, challenge her with this writing prompt. Find photos of two family members. Next, give your child the prompt: "These two people are sitting around a campfire at midnight, when suddenly, one person discovers a problem! Write the conversation they have to solve the problem, making sure to describe the problem in detail."
