Write Out the Info To Illuminate The Data

If your child struggles with advanced graphs, teach her to translate the data into a sentence. When your daughter brings home a graph, instruct her to choose a point and write a sentence describing it. Repeat this with other points. When she’s written a sentence about each point, ask her to write a statement about the entire graph!
