Write a Bully Story

Talk with your child about how to respond to a bully. For example: recognizing that what the other person is saying about you isn't true and doesn't matter, ignoring the other person's behavior while it's happening, or telling an adult about it.  Have your child write a script for how someone can handle bullying. Seeing strategies in action in this way will help her know what to do in the event that she encounters a similar situation.
