The Word Is Bird!

Inspire a love for nature by setting 10 minutes a day of bird-watching with your child. Use a field guide to identify the birds or encourage your child to make up names of his own. He can create his own nature guide by drawing pictures or taking photos, and keeping data on the birds he sees. Ask: How many different birds did you see each day? How are they different/the same?
