What Will the Birds Eat?

Make a bird feeder that you can put somewhere visible from a window, so you and your child can see what the birds like to eat. You can tie an ear of corn to a tree branch or fill a small paper cup with birdseed. You and your child are creating a built-in project as you follow the birds’ life cycle and feeding habits, and honing your child’s observation skills.
