What Makes a Garden Grow?

Show your child examples of what plants need – sunshine, water, and soil – by showing her what happens when they don’t have them. If you have a plant that’s drooping a little, ask her, what do you think this plant needs? Why is it looking droopy and tired? Maybe if you water it, and put it in a sunny spot, it’ll perk up. Then, she can keep an eye out for the transformation.
