Welcome to Block Town

Spread out an old sheet or a big piece of paper on the floor, and draw roads on it to make a town. Add in lakes, trees, bridges, and roads big and small. Then encourage your child to build there with her blocks — tall towers (how tall can she make them before they fall down?), smaller houses, garages, and more. Add toy cars to complete the town.
