Ways to Encourage Scientific Thinking at Home

Most likely when your child enters second grade, he won’t have science lessons daily. Instead, the teacher will teach science around a theme, usually weekly. You can encourage scientific thinking at home by talking about how things work and the scientific process, reading nonfiction books together, and doing easy experiments at home.
