Volunteering and the School-Aged Child
Caring about others is an important value that even young children can learn. Find organizations that support volunteering. Encourage your child to donate part of her allowance to an organization of her choice. Help out at a hospital or clean up a park. Pick something interesting to your child and watch how enjoyable volunteering can be!
